Price was fine, but the riser is smaller than I pictured even after seeing measurements. It holds my spice jars nicely, so is useful enough, just not the bargain I expected.

Used it under a small plant I was giving to my sister. She was delighted because the curved sides make it look more thoughtful than placing pot direct on table. The size is compact but not too tiny.

Where has this been hiding?

The warmer wood tone looks far nicer in person than it did on my screen. My tea setup suddenly looks considered rather than dumped beside the kettle.

Much less bulky than another wooden stand I own, and better for everyday items.

My old riser was bulky and took over the whole bench, so I gave this slimmer one a go. It holds the tea caddy and sugar bowl without making a big production of itself. A quick wipe has been all it needs so far. pretty happy with how sturdy it feels.

The colour is a touch warmer than the listing photo, which actually suits my kitchen better. I put the teapot and sugar bowl on it and the whole corner looked tidier straight away. The curved ends are a lovely detail. It sits low, so nothing feels awkward to reach. Delighted with it.

Could it be smoother?

One scroll edge felt a bit rough when it arrived, nothing major and I kept it. Stable enough under my tea things, just reckon the finish could be better for the price.

A useful little present

I usually overthink home bits like this because plenty look good online and cheap in hand. Took a chance during a small desk tidy. The stand feels stable and has visible grain, not a flat fake-looking surface. My pens and little plant now sit together instead of wandering around. The 2 cm lift is subtle, but it makes a surprising difference. For me was very good value.

One scrolled edge arrived chipped, so the first impression was not good. The size and low profile are otherwise what I wanted for my desk. I can turn the damaged side toward the wall, but for a decorative piece I should not need to hide part of it. Kept it because returning felt like more trouble.

Spice jars look much tidier raised up, and the low height means I can still reach everything easy. Natural grain is pleasant also. Is simple item, but very useful.

Delivery was prompt and it went straight onto my rather chaotic desk.
