Delivery took much longer than expected. Tracking did not change for several days. When parcel came, the dish was thankfully not broken. It is nice shape, but there was a small pulled looking mark in matte finish that does not clean away. For the wait and finish issue, I expected better.

Will she actually use it?

My sister is forever losing her earrings, so this went in her birthday parcel. She messaged that evening to say it was already beside the bed. Apparently her rings went straight into it. The finish suits her very minimal flat. It felt heavier and nicer than I expected. A surprisingly successful little gift.

better value than the glossy ones

I compared several trays because most in this size looked either fussy or oddly expensive. This one had the plain oval shape I wanted, so I gave it a go. It sits on the bathroom counter with my watch and cufflinks, and the shallow sides make everything easy to reach. The black finish works with the taps without making the area feel busy. Mine wiped clean with no fuss after a splash. Glad I didnt spend more elsewhere.

On the hall table it looks tidy without drawing loads of attention. Keys and loose coins finally have somewhere to go.

The black is flatter and slightly greyer than it appeared on my screen. Shape is lovely, and it fits the narrow bathroom ledge well. I kept it, but the colour was the main reason I ordered.

After rinsing, pale water marks stayed on the matte surface until much polishing, and for me this is annoying on item meant to look tidy.

Would I buy another?

My previous key tray was bulky and kept taking over the console. I expected this one to feel too small, but the oval shape is surprisingly practical. It holds my keys, earbuds and a couple of rings. The smooth rim is a nice touch when I am rushing out. Yes, I would get a second one for the bedroom.

Under the hallway mirror, the oval shape softens all the straight lines nicely. It is compact, perhaps a touch more shallow than I pictured.

GOOD LITTLE DISH

Cleaning is very simple. I rinse it, dry with cloth, finished. The ceramic feels solid in hand. It sits near kitchen door for keys and does not make area look busy. My wife now wants one also.

The box looked rather large for such a small item. Inside, everything was secure and the ceramic had no damage. I had expected maybe too lightweight piece. It is actually solid in hand. The matte finish is calm and modern. One corner of the inner wrapping was crushed, but product was fine.

First order, nice surprise

I ordered it as a housewarming present and nearly kept it myself. My friend has it on her dresser now, and she is delighted with it.

18 cm fits just right

Measured the narrow shelf before ordering and the stated dimensions were spot on. It holds my keys plus two rings without taking over the space.

Weight is enough that it stays in place when I pick up keys. It is not heavy to move for cleaning, though. For me this balance is perfect.

On the walnut shelf it looks considered without shouting for attention. Keys finally have a proper spot.
