Will it fit a whisk?

At 23 cm long, it handles my balloon whisk better than the little round rest I replaced. The base is wider than I pictured, though, so measure the space beside your stove.

Why did I wait so long?

Size wise, it is spot on for a spoon or ladle without swallowing half the worktop. A very chunky whisk can hang over the side, but the handle remains supported.
