Second time lucky

The previous mat I bought elsewhere kept creeping towards the edge of the desk, which drove me daft. This velvet backing grips properly and the edges look well finished.

Spill survived ☕

A full mug went over beside the keyboard and I thought the wooden desk was done for. Wiped the mat quickly, everything underneath was dry, and I was very grateful. rly pleased with this impulse buy.

The colour surprised me.

Green looked darker in the listing photo. In my room it is more muted, which was little disappointing. Quality is good and mat stays in place. I kept it, but colour was main reason for choosing.

measured twice, chose well

I measured the desk before ordering and the 40x80 cm size leaves just enough wood showing around the edge. Laptop and keyboard sit comfortably together without crowding my mouse.

Writing on notebook is smooth, and desk is protected very nicely.

tidied up my whole setup

My desk used to look like a random pile of tech, and somehow putting everything on one defined surface fixed that. The black version is understated and feels far nicer than the plastic mat I had.

I measured the desk twice and ordered 45x90. It fits very well with no awkward overhang. The stitched border gives it a neat finish.

A nicer desk, one small gripe

My daughter had just started studying from home and her old desk was already getting scratched. I ordered the 35x70 cm as a little surprise. She sent me a photo as soon as she set it up, which honestly made my day. Her laptop and notebook fit, though there is less spare room than I pictured. The top handled a small water spill during her first week. I would size up next time, but she is delighted with it.

Looks better than it lasted

For first months it looked very elegant on my work desk. I use computer every day, so mouse area gets much contact. Now that place shows wear more than I expected. Water drops still clean easy and bottom does not slide. I like it, but durability could be better for heavy use.

Quietly useful

Light gray is little darker than photo on my screen, but actually suits the room. Surface has enough space for all my work things. I am grateful my wooden desk is covered now.

Would Dad choose this?

My dad appreciated it for his study, especially the smooth writing area. The black was a little more severe looking than I expected for his room. He kept it and uses it every day, so not a bad gift overall.

After coffee went over the edge, I cleaned surface with damp cloth and it was fine. Is practical for daily work and doesnt move around.

Would I order it again?

My last mat from another brand curled at the corners within weeks. This one arrived flat and the stitching seems much neater. I use a mouse and keyboard straight on it every day. The surface has enough glide without feeling slippery. Reckon I picked the right replacement.

Green, but grown up

Colour looks grand in person.

Knocked over a glass on the first evening, wiped it straight away and no harm done. Plain, practical and stays put.

Second one, still decent

My older mat from another shop was thicker, although it also slid around constantly. This one feels slimmer but stays in place, which suits me better for typing.

The parcel turned up on a rainy afternoon, but everything inside was dry and unmarked. It flattened out by the next morning and has been a solid little desk upgrade.

Disappointing corner

One corner arrived curled and there was a loose bit of thread along the edge. I left books on it for several days, but the corner still lifts slightly. The rest of the surface is usable and handles small spills well. Kept it because returning felt like more bother than it was worth.

Coffee cleaned up fine

Coffee marks came away when I wiped the top, so my desk underneath stayed safe. The velvet bottom doesnt move much during work.
