At first I wondered if natural bamboo would cope beside a busy kitchen tap. We have used it daily for several months now. I wipe it when cleaning the counter and leave it to dry. There is no change in shape, and the slats have not loosened. It has proved more durable than I expected.

Compared with the plastic dish we had, this looks much nicer and takes up less counter space. Drainage is effective as long as you empty the water underneath. One slat has a tiny raised spot, so I keep the smoother side facing forward.
The finish on mine is uneven and one side rocks on the counter, so I cannot say it is good value.
